Dilated Peoples, Souls of Mischief: Hip-hop groups Dilated Peoples and Souls of Mischief are bringing their rhymes to The Sound in Del Mar. Los Angeles-based Dilated Peoples joined together in the 1990s and released several singles before their first studio album titled “The Platform” in 2000. Over the years, the group has dropped six studio albums and worked with artists such as Kanye West, Talib Kweli and Vince Staples. East Oakland-based Souls of Mischief also established themselves in the early 1990s with songs “93’ Til Infinity” and “Step to My Girl.” 8 p.m. tonight. Nora En Pure: Feel the vibe of deep house music when producer and DJ Nora En Pure takes the stage at Gallagher Square. The South African-born and Switzerland-based musician’s sound is described as “cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances,” according to Spotify. The 34-year-old has performed at Burning Man, Coachella, Tomorrowland and EDC. In 2019 and 2020, she won Best House Artist (Female) at the International Dance Music Awards. Nora En Pure has delivered two singles in 2025: “Tranquility” and “Protected” featuring Richard Walters. Peter Noone: English singer-songwriter, musician and actor Peter Noone is gracing the Belly Up stage for a seated show. Noone was the lead singer of Herman’s Hermits, a band from Manchester, England, as a teenager in the mid-1960s. Over the years, he has performed on television shows and starred in the 1968 film “Pinocchio.” In the 1980s he was in the Broadway production of “The Pirates of Penzance.” Most recently, he has released singles such as “Rock n Roll Lullaby” and “Peter Noone the Flame (Toms).” 7 p.m. Monday. Third World: For over 50 years, Third World has been creating reggae music. Now, they arrive at the Belly Up to perform in that genre, with music that is blended with R&B, hip-hop, rock, funk, pop and dancehall. The group was formed in Kingston, Jamaica, and current membership comprises Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore, Richard Daley, Tony “Ruption” Williams, AJ Brown, Norris Webb, Rupert Bent and Richard Barr. Bill Frisell Trio: What do you get when Bill Frisell on guitar, Thomas Morgan on bass and Rudy Royston on drums get together for a show? The audience receives the Bill Frisell Trio. All three musicians will combine forces for a concert at the Scripps Research Auditorium. Wax Tailor: It’s been 20 years since Wax Tailor released “Tales Of The Forgotten Melodies.” To celebrate that debut album, he is embarking on a world tour that includes a stop at the Music Box.
