Snow White — Disney’s live-action adaptation of its 1937 classic starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot — will try to find a new audience on streaming this week after flopping in theaters.
Snow White’s animated counterpart, of course, is the legendary animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, based on the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Snow White opened on March 21 after the film endured three-plus years of controversies during production, including Zegler’s pointed observations about the animated version of the tale and her politically divisive social media posts.
