I'm a perfume expert - this £9 spray smells like £38 Sol De Janeiro and 'lasts longer'

GiveMeCosmetics have launched a body spray perfume bundle that contains four scents that are drawing similarities to much more expensive options on the market, like Sol de Janeiro. The latter charges £38 for a 240ml bottle, whereas with Give Me Cosmetics' bundle a 200ml bottle works out at £9. GMC's Caramel Vacay is proudly inspired by SDJ's cult classic Cheirosa 62 , having subtle notes of pistachio, sweet almond, heliotrope and jasmine - alongside the expected vanilla and salted caramel. Superdrug also sells an £11.99 Mar E Sol Salted Caramel & Pistachio Body Mist , which features 250ml. Orchid Dreams is inspired by Cheirosa 59 and boasts warm violet and vanilla orchid notes. While Sunset Serenity blends together caramel and luscious fruits for something reminiscent to Cheirosa 87 . The final scent in the set, Botanical Breeze , doesn't take inspiration from any of Sol de Janeiro's scents, and instead aimed to give a similar experience to Victoria's Secret Fresh Jade with apple, coconut, lemon and orange notes. Fresh Jade doesn't currently be available to buy in the UK. So far there are only three reviews for the spray bundle but they're all perfect five stars . One shopper said: "They products are great , smells lovely and fast delivery will definitely buy again." A second penned: "Love them all they all smell so fresh." However it is worth noting that Caramel Vacay, which shares a number of notes with cult classic Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa 62, has an average rating of 5 of out 714 reviews. One shopper said: "This is just as good if not better than Sol de janeiro and smells delicious and lasts longer." A second penned: "Absolutely love this body spray! Smells gorgeous and doesn't leave any sort of sticky feeling like some others do! Cannot fault any products I have purchased from this website so far! Skincare, hair care is all amazing! Also the body cream is great too, it's smooth and like the spray has no stickiness feeling, also smells just as good as the body spray!"
