If her pool is visible from his property (or public land) without him having to make affirmative effort to gain that access, he's not breaking any law. Being visible on your property is not private. Now, if he built a deer stand just to get a sightline - that is probably a no-no. But from an upper-story window, it's legal
The exemplar example is that if you walk to an uncurtained bay window in your house bare ass naked, you have committed public indecency, even though you are in your own house because you made no attempt to prevent people from seeing. But if someone goes and sticks a camera through a curtain, then they are in the wrong

But did he move it to a location that required modification to get around the screen. If its just another window or balcony in his house, that's not "wrong" (for the value of wrong that it is actionable). If he put up a pole just to get around the screen, then she needs to go see a lawyer

Incorrect. The rules are reversed for birthing people. They get ultimate privacy even in public. It's illegal to look at them if they don't consent.

Everyone hating on the Crypto bro because Crypto bro, but he sure doesnt sound like the asshole in this story..
Loud music in the yard at all hours of the night, like christmas morning at 3am? I get living close to people, or in an apartment complex.. My neighbor's have parties, picnics, etc... but not 3 or 4 days a week.. Sounds like she gets drunk with friends and is stupid loud all the time.
"Maghrebi had come to the U.S. from Tunisia at 18 for college. "
sounds like maybe an anonymous call to Trump's ICE people could take care of this problem.

"Are people trying to actually solve the problem, or are they trying to shame their neighbor into better behavior?" he said. "Those are different things."
When the "better behavior" is the solution to the problem, those aren't different things. That is a very stupid statement.
Public shaming can be a very effective motivation.
Not that I have a solid opinion on this specific situation.

They didn't ask if it was legal, they asked if it was creeper behavior. If someone has a camera up recording my backyard and I put up a privacy screen and they move their camera to continue to record my backyard then I'd say it's less about protecting their own property and more about spying/creeping.

I've got a crazy neighbor, but not that bad. We were friendly, bullshiat at the fence kind of friendly. Then one day out of the blue he comes to the fence holding a golf club threatening to kick my ass because he said I had cameras pointing at his house. I have no cameras. I chalked it up to him being a little paranoid because of the all the weed he smokes. A few weeks later he apologizes. Few months go by and everything seems fine. Then he does it again. This time accusing me of following him around. I was busy with work for over a week and hadn't even left the house in god knows how long. But he claims it wasn't just me, I had other people following him around. So that's it, I'm not wasting my time with this guy.
He completely changes his habits after this. He doesn't sit in his backyard, he sits in the front or in his driveway. He parks his car in a different part of the driveway. He only uses the front door to go in and out of his house. All kinds of weird stuff. This was about 3 years ago. Haven't spoken to him since. He put this fence up through the middle of his yard a couple of weeks ago.

He has kidney or liver disease and I thought that kind of put him on edge. I've lived next to him for like 12 years and for at least 6 he was fine. He never came across as a fox news guy. After the fence went up I was kind of shocked. I haven't spoken to him in 3 years and that whole time I was in his head. Glad I never told him I fly helicopters in my free time.

the "loud music" didn't break the rule of being inaudible at 100' from the property line. My headphones are audible at 100 feet, sometimes. If it wasn't audible 100' away, then it wasn't "loud" - just how square are you, man?

I only have 3/4acre, but it's in the middle of a suburb, and the house is worth too much to tear down and subdivide, so it just never happened as the suburb was built around it. It's big enough that we have goats, chickens, and a garden that isn't just for looks. I'd never live in a house like his - just get a condo, man - then you can have all sorts of stuff you don't have to maintain yourself, and just exists, versus a postage stamp of nothingness.
