Saturday Night Live is back on Saturday, May 3, kicking off the first of three final live episodes to conclude the show’s landmark 50th season. Who is the SNL host and musical guest this week? Read on to learn everything to know about tonight’s episode.
The long-running sketch comedy show returned for its 50th season on September 28, 2024. SNL has featured numerous celebrations to celebrate the five-decade milestone, culminating in a three-hour SNL50: The Anniversary Special on February 16. This season also welcomed three new Featured Players: Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim, and Jane Wickline.
Season 50 has welcomed a wide range of performers to host, including Ariana Grande, John Mulaney, Michael Keaton, Jean Smart, Nate Bargatze, Bill Burr, Charli XCX, Paul Mescal, Chris Rock, Martin Short, Dave Chappelle, Timothée Chalamet, Shane Gillis and Lady Gaga.
Meanwhile, the SNL stage has recently welcomed musical artists like Jelly Roll, Coldplay, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, , Charli XCX, Shaboozey, Gracie Abrams, Hozier, GloRilla, Timothee Chalamet, Tate McRae, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, and Elton John with Brandi Carlile.
